I have always been engaged and involved in City of Atlanta grass roots initiatives. I have served as a proud member of the Atlanta BeltLine TADAC Board of Directors, and continue to volunteer with YearUp, City of Refuge, and the Atlanta BeltLine Partnership.
I don't just live in Atlanta - I live Atlanta! I grew here and have lived all over the metro area from Marietta, to Lawrenceville and Atlanta. I am an outdoor enthusiast and have run in 15 Peachtree Road Races, played competitive tennis, and now participate in organized amateur golf league play through the LPGA Women Who Play, where I serve as a local golf programs director.
Atlanta is a historic city with known and unknown civil rights landmarks and lure that distinguishes it from any other city in the world. As a Black teenager in the 1970s, I participated in witnessing much of that history unfold. I love to share this aspect of Atlanta with visitors from a native perspective. Atlanta is also the gateway to the east with one of the fastest growing technology and innovation hubs in the US; live-work communities that incorporate old Atlanta transportation infrastructure with green-space and e-commerce are the life-blood of the Atlanta BeltLine neighborhoods. No one should come to Atlanta without walking on the BeltLine! Then there is the beauty of Stone Mountain, which is only 30 minutes outside of downtown but a world away; walking the mountain is a must for every outdoor enthusiast.
I am CPR and AED certified as a walking coach and I am studying to become a yoga instructor. I love meeting new people and sharing the great city of Atlanta with visitors. I am open to sight-seeing touring in my car, walking tours on the Atlanta BeltLine, or to taking guests out for a golf clinic at one of Atlanta's beautiful country club courses. I am your one stop destination local tour guide. . . can't wait to meet you!

Karen is a very good guide with lots of local knowledge and information. The sites we visited were wonderful and I would use her as a guide again if I get back to Atlanta.
