The ideal escape for wine & history lovers!
Enjoy a day tour driving from Athens along the Argosaronikos gulf, over Corinth and the Canal of Peloponnesus, to discover the unique varieties of the 2000 years old St. George wine and its wineries.
I pick you up from the location of your stay and we drive out of Athens on a beautiful seaside highway to enter the Peninsula of Pelloponesos where we make a short stop to explore the canal and rest for a few minutes.
Afterwards, we drive to Nemea. There we can stop to visit the Archaeological site of Nemea. A stadium for the old Panhellenic games, the Temple of Zeus and a small museum.
Then we proceed to the wine roads and stop in Palivos Estate Winery. After a short introduction of the winery's installations and storage rooms by the owners, you'll be given to try the different varieties of Agiorgitiko wine (St. George wine) like Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah in Red, White and Rose colour.
Afterwards, we drive back to Corinth for driving around the archaeological site of the old city and enjoy the view. At this point, you can choose to have lunch.
Finally, we drive back to Athens to the place I picked you up from.
