From Torino to the land of reds, whites, architecture and food
This tour departs from Torino and ends in Torino.
The town of Asti is one of the most beautiful "città d'arte" in Piedmont with its narrow medieval streets.
Il Monferrato is a promise land for enogastronomy with its DOC red and white wines.
Spring here is beautiful but autumn is even better: get prepared for local feasts and festivals held in harvest months.
Departing from Torino, our first stop will be at Castelnuovo Don Bosco where we will visit an outstanding medieval abbey (short visit but very breathtaking)
We will continue to Asti with its medieval streets and squares and a quick bite.
The itinerary continues to a outstanding Barbera wine producer where you will have the chance to try MY favorite wine, glorious Barbera.
I may occasionally find it necessary to modify the stated itinerary/supplier due to unforeseen circumstances, availability, or in order to improve the trip. In the event that I alter any part(s) of the itinerary, I will substitute a service or supplier of equal or greater quality.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration

Transportation is a must in these hillside areas. I do not have a private car but I regularly use the services of a professional and reliable driver that will drive us around in his Mercedes.

60 euro - This is the average price for the visit to the wine cellars and wines tasting, per person. The cost may vary according to how many wines you decide to try.

We cannot say enough great things about the wine tasting tour that Carol B. put together for us. After exchanging inquisitive and witty emails she perfectly customized a day trip to the wine country outside of Tornio, Italy that we are still talking about two months later. And I think she enjoyed the trip as much as we did! She also recommended a place for dinner in Tornino and called and made our reservation for us. It too was quite a treat. This is a great way to do sightseeing.
