Tour to Tashkent-Samarkand-Shahrizabs-Bukhara-Khiva

The tour begins in Tashkent - the biggest city of Central Asia and the modern capital of Uzbekistan. Then the route will take us to Samarkand - one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world, prospering from its location on the trade route between China and the Mediterranean Silk Road. There's a lot to see in ancient Samarkand as well. In 2001, UNESCO added the city to its World Heritage List as Samarkand - Crossroads of Cultures. The tour will then move forward to Bukhara - "the Pearl of the East". Most of the tourist and visitors note this noble and fabulous city as the most impressive and inspiring one. Old buildings, madrassahs, mosques, minarets and covered bazaars keep Bukhara as an oldest living city of the caravan days. Next destination is Khiva - the ancient capital of Kharezm emirate and an important World Heritage site. A walking tour will reveal the mysteries of this legendary town leaving the unforgettable impressions. The tour will end in its starting point - Tashkent city.

A Recent Review of this tour

I fell in love with Uzbekistan while on my trip. The country is incredible and my guide, Timur, is an exceptional man. His knowledge of the history of each site could be called encyclopedic except it is too alive and full of funny anecdotes to belong in any dry encylopedia. I was awed by the sites, impressed by the organization put into the tour and enjoyed every moment. Have you been to Uzbekistan and met Timur? If your answer is no, then you must correct this. You are already on the website, book it!
