Kid Friendly: Yes. Because of the risks of biking, I would recomment it for children of 10 years and older.
Since I am a bachelor in education I love to have children in my tours.

Getting to know a different Amsterdam on two wheels
Amsterdam; the city of 165 canals, 1500 bridges, 1 million bikes, 180 nationalities. City of drugs and prostitutes. City of Rembrandt, Van Gogh and Anne Frank. A great city, but no more than a big village.
Where to start in a city you don't know? I will take you along all the highlights, the well-known and the hidden places.
As a local I can show you all the interesting places: great areas (like the picturesque Jordan area), magnificent buildings (like the Royal Palace), interesting places (like the Red Light District), famous museums (like the Rijksmuseum) and splendid shops and restaurants (like the 'Nine Streets'- area).
There is no better way to get to know Amsterdam in a way a local would do this than by bike. This might be a challenge, but once you get the hang of it you will love it!
We'll start with getting our bikes at Amsterdam Central Station. From there we'll leave for a bike tour along the world famous Canal Belt which includes highlights like Anne Frankhuis, Westerkerk, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum. After that we'll visit the Jewish area with the Rembrandthuis. Somewhere in the middle we'll take a break with coffee and cake.
The program is flexible. Also possible in the afternoon (finishing with a drink instead of lunch).
