A charming journey through the histories of Spartacus
THIS TOUR CAN BE CUSTOMIZED TO YOUR NEEDS AND REQUESTS.
The amphitheater of the celebrated gladiator Spartacus, is the most important archaeological remain of the ancient Capua. In the entire Roman Empire, only the Colosseum was bigger. The Mithraeum, discovered in 1922, dates back to the 2nd or 3rd century AD, and represents one of the most complete monuments dedicated to the cult of the Persian god Mithras.
