An Amish or Mennonite guide joins us for this tour giving you an authentic insider visit and experience.
On this exciting and memorable tour, we explore the beautiful Amish countryside with an Amish or Mennonite member of that community. We experience the everyday life, community, customs and culture of the Amish. We visit their farms, bakeries, markets, quilt shops, mills, covered bridges and more. Throughout the tour, there is repeated first-hand interaction with the people, practices and places of the 31, 000 Amish living in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
We will travel approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes to Amish Country in Lancaster, Pennsylvania (it takes a while to get to the country). There we will meet up with our Amish or Mennonite guide and head out on our 6 hour adventure roaming and exploring the beautiful Amish countryside.
Early in the visit, we will stop at an all-you-can-eat family-style restaurant where Amish food is prepared and served. We will visit at least one of each of the following during the day: an Amish quilt shop; farm; farmers' market; water powered mill; country store; covered bridge; bake shop and more. We will pass by Amish farms, schools, cemeteries and businesses along way. We will see the Amish working in the fields, driving their horses and buggies, in the store and living a lifestyle more like the 1800's than today. It should be noted that each of these experiences are genuine. This is not tour staged for tourists.

My family and I did the Amish tour with Ronald. Our experience was exceptional. From the moment Ronald arrived he was extremly professional and knowledgable. We found the tour very interesting and enjoyed the local guide Lois as well. We would highly recommend Ronald for any future tour and thank him so very much for such an authentic day.
