Also a "plus", having no accent in either language
makes it easier for American clients to understand me.
A little about myself :
"Made in Texas, born in Normandy!"
After working briefly for CNN for the 60th Anniversary of the D-Day landings, I knew that I wanted to share my passion on the subject of WWII and became a guide, specialized in the Battle of Normandy working first for Battlebus, a leading tour company in the area at the time. Not only did I fall for the beauty of Normandy for also for a very beautiful French woman.
My Mom was born in Carentan* late July 1944
(Mentioned in "Band of Brothers" episode 3)
If it hadn't been for American soldiers going thru the area… and if they hadn't stopped at the farm to offer their assistance in taking my pregnant grandmother by jeep to Carentan, I might not be here to tell you about our family's history…
A Recent Review of this guide
Trevor provided us with the tour of a lifetime. He gave us non stop information about all of details of the D Day invasion, often with personal drawings he made in the sand of both beaches. He was with us 9 - 10 hours for two days showing us all the the important sites of the many parts of the momentous battles. He made sure that we were in the right place at the right time to avoid the crowds and personally guided us all the way. His passion for the heroes of normandy was truly inspiring!
