Just 2. 5hrs from Tegucigalpa is located the small city of Amapala at Isla del Tigre ( Tiger Island) formed by volcanic activity and between of El Salvador and Nicaragua.
Enjoy of the nearest beach to the the Capital city of Tegucigalpa, view of the volcanos of Nicaragua and El Salvador and have a tasty fish lunch or seafood soup, and at the afternoon stop at Ojojona a tiny little old mining colonial village where you can find pottery and other handcraft.

1. Meet you at your hotel at Tegucigalpa at 6:30am
2. Arrival to Pacific coast around 9:00am
3. Boat ride 20 minutes to Amapala at Tiger Island
4. Relax at the beach, and Fish Lunch.
5. 1:00pm return to Tegucigalpa
6. 3:30pm shopping tour at the village of Ojojona for handcraft and cup o coffee.
7. 6:00pm arrival at your Hotel.

A great day at the pacific coast with a delightful fish lunch on the beach. We enjoyed to relax and swim, alone on the beach, just in front the Salvadorian volcano, to visit Amapala on the island and Ojojona, a very nice village, on the way back.
