Canal Ring, Modern & Classic Art, Red Light District, Rembrandt, with a private guide!
In this tour I would like to let you enjoy a little bit of everything in Amsterdam.
We start at the historic city center that explores its history, art, architecture, court yard, and sights.
Pass by places important to Rembrandt and hear stories about his time in Amsterdam.
In a traditional Dutch pub we take a break (drinks not included).
Next, walk to one of the city's most beautiful courtyards, an old church, and pause to tour a wing of the Amsterdam Museum. Admire modern and classical art works!
Continue to the oldest part of Amsterdam, and learn about Amsterdam's historic tolerance to the infamous Red Light District.
We end this beautiful walk in Chinatown to visit a bar of a family of resistance heroes in World War II (subject to availability).
My usual start location is Damrak 247, if your hotel is located within the old city center (1012 zip code) I can meet you in the lobby of your hotel.
Admire modern and classic art in a wing of the Amsterdam Museum (when open), and visit a beautiful court yard nearby.
From here we walk to the beautiful old city center, the old heart of town. Hear stories of the famous Red Light District and how a big city council project has reshaped parts of the neighborhood.
We end the tour in multicultural and lively Chinatown.

Wonderful guide. Ian was full of energy and excitement in telling us about his city and showing us around. He moved at a perfect pace, made sure everyone in our party could hear him and was just a lot of fun. Great personality, funny and personable. I would highly recommend booking one of his tours.
