Discover the beautiful archeological sites of Santorini with a private local guide
Let's visit one of the most important archaeological site of Greece. We will uncover together the myths of Santorini on a 2 hours guided-tour at the Akrotiri Excavations, one of the most important prehistoric settlements of the Meditterranean sea. Some speculate that this is the origin of Atlantis, a mythical city, lost in time.
>Admire the elaborate drainage system and the sophisticated multi-storied buildings while me, as an archaeologist, I will narrate you the last dramatic days of this legendary site.
Before we visit the archaeological site of Akrotiri we have a little walk at the Fira capital town (for the cruise passengers) and then we drive all the way to the south part of the island, passing by Megalochori and Akrotiri village, making stops to the famous cliffs of Caldera, taking there some of the best photos of your whole trip.

Spiros took us to the Akrotiri excavation site after a brief tour. He is an archeologist and his knowledge of the site and its history was outstanding. We recommend him to anyone, particularly those interested in history
