A typical Greek island
This tour is about discovering one of the prettiest Greek islands and take a taste of the easy going life outside the big cities! The island is in the Saronic bay, so we will drive to the port of Piraeus from where We' ll take the boat in order to reach the island . It will take us about an hour.
Arriving In Aegina we will stroll along it's lovely pier and then go for a visit to the ancient temple of Athena Afea , one of the best preserved temples in Greece. We will drive trough the island and see the pistachio plantations , the Byzantine town of Paleohora perched on a rock , once capital of the island and the typical pistatcio red painted houses!
At the end of our tour we can seat for a typical Greek lunch in one of the best fish tavernas along the waterfront and have some octapus and fresh fish of the day!
Then we will take the boat and return to Athens!
Leave from Athens Greece, take a speed boat and go to the Saronic island of Aegina. Walk around the capital and then drive 20 min. to visit the ancient temple of Athena Aphaea. Have lunch in the lovely town and then take again the boat for another 40 min. and arrive in the port of Athens.

Meeting location: Downtown,or the port of Piraeus if possible.

In Winter time or when the weather is bad the ships for the island won't sail!
Taxi or Metro to the port and then Hydrofoil or Boat
The transfer to the port, as well as myself guiding you around the island and the ancient temple of Athena Aphea.

50 euro - Each person, for the Metro,Taxi, Boat ticket and the admission to the various archaeological sites.
You are responsible for purchasing any items of a personal nature related to shopping, souvenirs, snacks, and restaurant meals. Also the boat tickets and the taxi in the island as well as the entrance fees will cost around 50 euro per person.
