Venice in the past Centuries was not only a rich and very powerful country: it was also one of the capital cities of the Great Italian Art.

You wil learn how and why these wonderful pieces were made here, not in other places, thank to a deep introduction over the historic, economic and socio-political background that will make it clear how the Venetians could create one of the most unique way to represent light, life, space and time.
We will then visit Ca' Rezzonico, the real house of the Rezzonico family, where you will see how did they live in the XVIII Century and how Art was important in daily life to celebrate the families and the country's Power

Nicoletta did a great job. She was 10-15min late because of traffic and called us in advance. She more than made up for it. I had already visited Venice in the past and knew certain things, she gave us all kinds of insights and her explanations were spot on. I would certainly recommend her. She is extremely familiar with the area and can get you into any museum in Venice. My two daughters had a blast and my wife was very happy.
