Discovering Rome by foot - fullday walking tour with a qualified guide
A fullday walking tour with a good mix of famous and off the beaten path sites, Ancient and modern History.
We'll start with a skip the line visit of the Colosseum, the amphitheater, and the Roman Forum, the main plaza, where senators and plebeians gathered 2000 years ago.
After a short walk to admire the Capitoline Plaza, we'll visit the Jewish District, one of the most charming neighborhood of Rome, where you can enjoy some local food and learn about the recent history.
Next stop, Largo Argentina, the Pantheon and of course a gelato in a family-run shop!
We can end at the Trevi Fountain, so you can linger for photos and coin-trowing!
TIPS for a perfect visit:
- Only small backpacks or handbags allowed in the Colosseum
- Wear comfortably shoes
- Bring a bottle of water (you can refill during the tour)
- We can skip the Trevi Fountain if not interested (always very crowded)

Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: At the exit of the "Colosseo" subway station at groundfloor, close to a kiosk (photo).
On request, I can customize the walk and start from your hotel (if nearby the Pantheon or Colosseum)
End location: Trevi Fountain.I will give you all the instructions to reach your hotel or the nearest taxi stand.
Duration: 7 hours
-Timing may change depending on your pace and level of interest
-This tour is totally outdoor.
Tour is provided even in case of light rain since we can use umbrellas and raincoats.
In case of a thunderstorm we can choose together to change the itinerary or the date of the tour

Important: an entry fee for the Pantheon will be introduced from 2 May 2018. The ticket will be 2€ a head (needed to fund restorations/manteinance of the site)
