We will leisurely stroll thru the oldest parts of Charles Towne. Sights to be included but not limited to are: Four corners of Law, St. Michaels Church, High Battery, Rainbow Row, revolutionary and civil war sites, Historic Harbor, flourishing gardens, mysterious graveyards, french quarter, Dock Street Theater, cobblestone streets and hidden passageways. This is a fully narrated history tour covering the founding of Charles Towne when it was ruled by the British, an independent colony, thru the Revolutionary and Civil wars highlighting the influence of the enslaved west africans known today of the Gullahs. We will include architecture, culinary and botanicals delights.
Meeting Location + Tour Duration
Meeting location: If you are staying in downtown Charleston, you can be met at your hotel.
End location: We can end the tour at a convenient location for you. If you wish to return to your hotel, take a harbor tour, or have a lovely meal, the tour will end in a location close to where you wish to be!

This is a walking tour. We cover at most, 3/4 mile in each direction with frequent rest stops.
