2 Day tour of Scotland
Leaving Edinburgh/Glasgow, we pass Stirling Castle and the National Wallace Monument prior to our first photo stop at 13th century Doune Castle.
Protecting the gateway to the Highlands the medieval castle has recently been seen as Castle Leoch in Outlander, Winterfell in Game of Thrones. As we continue north the mountains and lochs provide a dramatic backdrop for our journey to Glen Coe, perhaps the most famous of all Scotland's glens. From here we start to travel all the way along the Great Glen and into Inverness for the night.
In the morning it's only a short drive to Culloden Moor where the Jacobites were finally defeated by government soldiers in 1746, the last battle to be fought on British soil.
From there we visit one of Scotland's most evocative and sacred prehistoric sites, the nearby 4000 year old stone circles and burial mounds at Clava Cairns.
From Calva we will then travel down through the Cairngorm Mountains, Highland Perthshire and back to Edinburgh or Glasgow.

Ally said it would be 'magic' and it was. An absolutely wonderful 2 days with Ally. He was a gracious and enthusiastic host. We saw so much in 2 days and had wonderfully informative commentary to boot. I would highly recommend a tour with Ally- you will be guided to places that interest you and you can spend as much or as little time as you wish at each place. His passion for his country, and especially the Highlands, is evident in his actions and his words. We wished we could have spent more time with him
