I fell in love with this country, reassured my passion for food and discovered a love of meeting new people and telling stories through eating. So I've decided to combine them both.
What and how we eat today is the edible evidence of a place's history and culture which is absolutely fascinating!
I'm a native speaker of both English and Spanish and I truly believe that tourism and the empathy created when travelling, help people get rid of bias and barriers, which ultimately makes the world a better place, and if you do it with food, it's so much better!

My expectations were open as they should be when you are dealing with crops and time of season for vegetables. My tour guide Christina was very passionate about the information shared about the Basque area. Her culinary experience and knowledge of Basque was a great introduction to what we both experienced at the farm. The proprietor, Amara, was personable and knowledgeable of the vegetables. The farm also helps locals with special needs. Worth the trip. I am an avid gardener. So perfect for me!
