I would like to show you the most beatiful part of the city. During this tour we will see the oldest part of Wrocław which is Cathedral Island. Although this is no more an island it still has this name. This is the area where Wrocław was founded over 1000 years ago. The Cathedral is still on the same place although nationality of priests have changed several times during last 1000 years. Then we will walk through the Old Town, crossing a few of more than 100 Wrocław's bridges. We cannot miss the most beatiful of them which is brigde of lovers where love is locked forever more than 1000 times. Then we will see other interesting churches and monasteries nowadays used as libraries or university faculties. Another must-see monument is beatifully sculptured City Hall built on the Market Square. The exact route through many of monuments will depend on your interests. You may choose between old gothic churches, baroque university buildings or lovely parks on former city walls. |

The itinerary can start at several places. We may meet at your hotel or at any other place at your convenience. Most popular meeting place in the Old Town is located in front of the Panorama Racławicka - unique place where is presented the biggest in Poland panoramic military painting. This over 1800 sq. meters painting which shows panoramic view of the battlefield at Racławice is a must-see in Wrocław.
This walking tour includes the Cathedral Island, Sand Island, Market Square with major tourist highlights such as St. John's Cathedral, Brigde of Lovers, City Hall, etc.
