Take the most spectacular seaside drive to one of world's premier mountain resorts, home of winter olympics 2010, Whistler-Blackcomb. Only one and a half hours drive from downtown Vancouver, this is a must excursion while visiting this part of the world. You can take the Peak to Peak Gondola, the only one of its kind in the world. I will show you Whistler through a local's eyes and we will visit the places locals and tourists love.
Itinerary can include: a visit to Shannon Waterfalls, stroll through Whistler village, visit to a grove of old growth trees, bear sightings, gondola to the ski area and Peak to Peak gondola, a short hike, suspension bridge over a raging mountain river, afternoon tea at Chateau Whistler, zip trecking tour, or a host of other possibilities. I will customize the tour to your needs. Travelling in very comfortable hibrid SUV with your competent tour guide, you will get the most out of this day without feeling fatigued. |
