Welcome to Montreal.
We will use your own car (you drive)and I will be your private tour guide; I can adjust the schedule, duration and activities to meet your needs. I will meet you at your hotel. Entrance fees not included (usually only Basilica fee to be antici-pated). This is a 4 hour tour of Old and Modern Montreal - including:the Old Port and Jacques Cartier Place-Town Hall-Notre Dame Basilica (optional, admittance fee payable at door), downtown, elegant Westmount neighbourhood-stop for view of St. Joseph's Oratory (visit optional)-view from Mount Royal-Olympic Stadium (1976), Latin Quarter. My intention is to show you the city in the way that I would show it to a visiting friend: I want to you to know our history, and to see how and where the people live, work and play. I would like you to think: I LIKED THE VISIT AND I'D LIKE TO LIVE HERE!. |

| When doing the City Tour, using your own car, we'll keep the driving (and time in the car) to a minimum. . . we will do a good part of the downtown and Underground City by foot. . walking 6 or 7 blocks. . and the same with Old Montreal. . . we'll drive to St. Louis Square and take a 'walk-around', we'll drive to Mount-Royal (the Mountain)' and walk through the Park to the Chalet for a great view of the City, and we'll drive through the neighbourhoods of Westmount and Outremont, stopping and getting off at places of interest. We will also visit the Italian neighbourhood and Jean Talon Market, and the Portuguese neighbourhood, where we'll stop for a cafezinho and a pastel de nata.
