A UNIQUE NATURE EXPERIENCE
This tour takes a small number of tourists to experience the Pilansberg National Park and give them some take home skills that will make any future African bush experience exhilarating. What you will learn whilst touring is how to use bush craft and the ways of nature to enhance your nature experience whilst driving in a nature reserve. The Pilansberg is a Big 5 reserve however the other animals, trees, insects and birds are just as rewarding subjects to learn about.Highlights may include seeing all the Big 5 in one day. The pinnacle of the tour will definitely be the learning of African bush craft principles – understanding the wind and using it like animals do, understanding game paths and animal routines, learning of the role of daily water, understanding inversion layers,catenas and seep lines, grasses and edible trees, the role of camouflage etc. The aim is to try understand these factors whilst driving in a vehicle. |
