By car, it takes 4 and half hours from Delhi to Agra. You have flexibility as it is your personal transport.
But in case you don't want a 4 hours drive, you have another option of taking the Train, which hardly takes 2 hours of comfortable riding to get to Agra, and is a fun and authentic Indian experience to remember once you're back home again.
In Agra, we arrange a car and after sightseeing is over we take another Late evening train to Delhi, which is of the same comfort category.
Breakfast/dinner is served on the train too. (Quite hygenic.)
8.15 a.m Arrival at railway station. Our arranged Car will be there to take us for the sight seeing.
8:30 a.m We will go for a sightseeing of Tajmahal. Then after seeing the beautiful Taj -
11:00 a.m We will proceed towards Fatehpur Sikri to see the enormous fort built in the golden period of the Mughal empire.
1:00 p.m Return to Agra.
2:00 p.m Reach Agra, On arrival have lunch at Mughal Sheraton.
3.00 p.m Visit Agra fort which was used my mughals for a very long time. Shah Jahan (King who built the Taj) was also imprisoned in this fort.
5:00 p.m Have some time for picking some souvenirs from the city of Taj which is very famous for inlay work in white marble. The same inlay which was done in tajmahal, is still done by the artisans in Agra.
7:00 p.m¨Proceed towards railway station.
10.30 p.m Reach Delhi. Tranfer to your hotel. End of the exciting tour of Tajmahal.
