Opening at 9 o'clock in the morning we'll certainly see Taipei 101, take pictures at Chiang Kai-shek Memorial and see the last changing of the guard on the hour in the hall before 4 o'clock in the afternoon.
After your optional light lunch we can visit some of the many temples, museums, shops and street markets - anything you like, and travel as far and wide as we can.
Where and When:
Meet up location: your Taipei hotel lobby or nearby the Keelung cruise terminal.
End location: wherever you choose to continue to go on your own, or we return to your hotel or ship.

Taipei's metro or 'MRT' is the fastest way to get around, and usually the city buses in their own lanes are too. There are many yellow taxis to fill any gap in our route. Travel by public transport between Keelung and Taipei takes up to an hour.
We'll keep an eye on the weather, try to stay indoors when it's too hot or raining.
500 NT Dollar - per person to cover taxi fares and personal expenses. Many shops, restaurants and venues accept credit cards.
