You have arrived on a cruise, or are in transit from Taoyuan International Airport or Sungshan Airport in the city. Or you are staying overnight in your Taipei hotel to catch the next available flight. Now you have time to see the town on your own with a reliable and punctual private driver. All you really want or need is a driver to see and visit the city on your own ?

You can choose from my recommendations with the driver, and decide how and when to return to the hotel, port or airport to continue your journey. |

| Transit time between the city, port and airport is generally one hour. Airlines in Taiwan apply a minimum check in time of 2 hours for international flights, for domestic flights it is half an hour. |

| 500 NT Dollar - It's best to carry at least about 500 'NT' (as we call it) per person for small purchases, as foreign currency is not accepted. Other items can be paid by credit card, such as some meals and admission to the Taipei 101 observation deck on the 89th floor for 450 NT Dollar. |

Meals and personal expenses, admission fees. Freeway toll and parking fees, night surcharges between 11 pm and 6 am, national holiday surcharges, additional hours at the equivalent of US$ 20 per hour.
For out of town trips with backtracking to Taipei add the equivalent of US$ 20. This also applies to trips starting from hotels outside Taipei.
You may add transport back to Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport by air-conditioned car, one way at the equivalent of US$ 125 paid in cash.
If you'd like to use a minivan for 7 people, or a minibus then please ask for a custom tour. |
