This is an extended version of a classical site seeing tour that alouds you to feel the atmosphere of all three centuries of St. Petersurg history - from the very birth of it (Peter&Paul Fortress and Peter's 1st Palace in St. Petersburg) to the times of Bolshevik Revolution (visit on board of the Cruiser Aurora) and modern still tradiditonal life of citizens of St. Petersburg (local food market). This 1 day spent in our city will tell you more about Russia, then probably you could learn from many books, movies and TV shows.
We will meet at your hotel, and will be cruising around city center on a car (minibus). During this tour we will visit: 1) Peter & Paul Fortress, Peter & Paul Cathedral where Russian Emperors are buried 2) Peter the Great's 1 Palace in St. Petersburg (Peter's Log Cabin) 3) Cruiser Aurora that started Bolshevik Revolution of 1917 4) The Church of Our Savior on Spilled Blood 5) St. Isaac Cathedral 6) St. Nicolas Naval Cathedral 7)Local Food Market
We will also make photo stops at the most picturusque sites of St. Petersburg, such as:
1) Spit of Vasilievsky Island 2) Smolny Cathedral 3) St. Isaac Square 4) Egyptian Sphinx in front of the Fine Arts Academy
We will pass by: 1) Nevsky prospect 2) Monument to Peter the Great 3) Mariinsky Theatre 4) Menshikov Palace 5) St. Petersburg State University
You will get a chance to get some sovenier/books or to have a coffee/quick lunch break during the tour, if you please.
Where and When:
Meet up location: I will meet you at the lobby of your hotel. I will be holding a card with your name on it
End location: We will bring you back to your hotel or leave you anywhere you please in the city center
You will have to be able to get in and out of the car, plus St.Isaac Carhedral and Cruiser Aurora are not acessible for handicaps. Please let me know in advance about your physical limits and I will recalculate the cost of the tour without entries to these museums
