Museum and Park Pedro del Río Zañartu of Hualpen. Located in the Sanctuary of the Nature in Hualpen's Peninsula. It offers a tour inside the house where all kinds of objects collected by Pedro del Río Zañartu during his 4 trips around the world between 1880 and 1913 are exhibited. Among the objects of the collection we can highlight an egyptian mummy, mapuche and indian silver and beatiful stones. It is located in Hualpen: the commune that has the best conditions for this kind of activity because it has an area of 53. 67 km2 , from wich 26. 6 km2 are declared a nature sanctuary where you can practice mountain bike, mountain board, surf, kitesurf, windsurf, climibing, kayaking, scuba diving, trekking, horse riding, or just enjoy the view and take pictures. Its status as a nature sanctuary allows us to keep these places intact, with special attractions like native forests and virgin beaches. |
