At the height of its glory, the culture of the Venetian Villas left some of its best examples along the banks of the river Brenta, where masterpieces were built, such as the mysterious Villa Foscari, better known as The Malcontenta, or the huge Villa Pisani in Strà, which belonged to the kings of Italy and is surrounded by a beautiful park. The countryside and the ancient life on the river Brenta are partially still existing in the old mills of Dolo, the barchesse and the burchiello, the ancient boat that sailed on the Brenta and linked Venice to his mainland. A typical or seafood lunch can be provided on demand, as well as a car and driver.
Both the villas are in the territory of Venice. You need a car to drive along the banks of the river; a car and a driver can be provided if requested.
