Copacabana:
Copacabana, known as the little sea princess, is one of the most famous city districts in the world. The beach is wide and beautifully suited for sporting activities. The sea is usually serene with small waves, except during a "Ressaca" (storm).
Ipanema & Leblon:
This stretch of beach became world famous through the song "Garota de Ipanema" by Tom Jobim and VinÃcius de Morais. This is where the Bossa Nova rhythm and beach fashion all were created. Ipanema means "dangerous waters" in Tupi Guarani, the Indian language.
Corcovado, meaning "hunchback" in Portuguese, is a mountain in central Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The 710-metre (2, 329 ft) granite peak is located in the Tijuca Forest, a national park.
Corcovado hill lies just west of the city center but is wholly within the city limits and visible from great distances. It is known worldwide for the 38-meter (125 ft) statue of Jesus atop its peak, entitled Cristo Redentor or "Christ the Redeemer".

| We will drive around the most important beaches of Rio (Copacabana, Ipanema, Leblon, Pepino...) and stop for a while to take nice pictures. After that we will take a nice 710m drive up to the Corcovado Hill and see a total view of the city and of course the 38m statue of the Christ. |
