Julia Schuetze, Germany Oct 15/11 Doug was flexible and patient in the planning of a tour tailored to our wishes. It was also great that he didn't mind the fact that we didn't know in advance how many people would be participating. The students enjoyed the tour a lot since Doug is very knowledgable but at the same time manages to make things very interesing by including funny anecdotes etc. The walking itinary he chose was very nice as it included both the main sights but also hidden beauties you wouldn't find by looking in a guide book.

Cathy Payson, United States Aug 9/11 Doug was very knowledgable and had great historical perspective about the way that Vancouver had evolved. Our walk through the local neighborhood of West Vancouver (charming) was something we never would have seen on our own. Stanley Park was also a treat, lovely trail walk. Only negative, after walking approximately 6 or 7 miles, which was fine, he was reluctant to take a taxi even after I told him our "dogs were barking", bus & subway instead. We enjoyed his company and would recommend him to anyone
