It is a shame that we did not fit in the Church of the Spilled Blood in the tour as this would have completed the day for us even though I understand that it was not originally included. I would recommend Alex to all those who want a good overview of the various major sites in St Petersburg. we would have liked a bit more detailed history of the city. Both are breathtakingly beautiful.. its just unbelievable.. after seeing these places, Versailles (Paris) and Schonbrunn (Vienna) looks very down to earth... Thank you Alex, we enjoyed our time in Saint Pete very much, and thank you for taking care of our transport back to the airport with all the "unfortunate" conditions.. He seemed really interested in making sure that I saw the highlights of the city and came away with an overview of it. I felt that compared to other tour options, I got more than is standard for a day's tour at a reasonable price. I ended up in St Petersburg alone due to my friend's visa troubles and it was also nice to have door to door service. Wear good walking shoes. He had prearranged tickets to The Hermitage, and was our personal tour guide there as well. He allowed us to set the pace, but did not let us linger too long - there were too many things to see!
