Douglas Guthrie, United States Apr 25/12 We were fortunate to have Daniel as our tour guide for 4 days and would have been happy with 4 more. Dan is a very friendly, courteous, flexible and extremely knowledgeable professional. He filled 4 days with tourist sites, historical information, everyday places and even jokes and poems. He made us feel completely at home in a city that can be tough for non-Russian speaking tourists. He is so enthusiastic about his city and its heritage, and really made the sites we visited interesting and memorable. He even brings along a booklet of historical photos and maps to help illustrate his "lessons" about various sites. He met us at our train right on time, had a car waiting for us, and had the whole day planned out--but was totally flexible during the day to do things at our pace.
