William M., United States May 21/13 Malbork tour is a highlight of any trip to Poland. Margaret got us to Malbork and arranged for a local guide to conduct a tour through the castle. Only guides who live in Malbork can guide through the castle. The castle tour was spectacular and the local guide enhanced it by explaining what we were seeing. Margaret arranged for a lunch in the castle and the owner/chef told us about his efforts to preserve the heritage menus. The food was excellent and it was made special by Margaret's efforts. Steven Bach, United States Jun 10/11 Malgorzata's ability to discuss aspects of Polish history (as opposed to merely reciting them) sets her apart from the average guide. Her excellent English language vocabulary serves her well. Our daylong excursion from Gdansk to Malbork Castle and to the German Nazi concentration camp at Stutthof was excellent and exactly as requested. Returning to Gdansk on country roads through small villages and the simple car ferry across the Vistula was a good antidote to the sights of Stuffhof. Well TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Dear Steven, Thank you very much for your testimonial and comments. I always recommend visitors after the visit to Stutthof Camp to walk in the beach , however, most of them -cruise passengers are in a great hurry to see more and more.
