Sammy Mok, Hong Kong Apr 29/12 We booked Daniel for the airport transfer as well the night before this full day tour. Although the cost is about 2x a cab ride, having an English speaking guide to greet you and explain what you are seeing on the ride into a new town was worth the difference. This tour covered all the key places in Rio. Daniel is very personable and is a a friend the first minute we met him. The buffet he took us to for lunch was phenomenal with great Brazillian barbecue as well as sushi. We highly recommend Daniel. TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: thanks Sammy! Larry Donnithorne, United States Jan 21/12 Daniel was a very satisfactory guide for a day's tour of Rio. He met us on time and took us safely to many interesting places. His own story and his insights into the culture were quite interesting to learn during the day. We felt that he could have told us more about some of the places we visited, but, on the other hand, he did not tire us with endless chatter as some guides do. Daniel was very thoughtful about offering options during the day and seeing us to our final destination. Highly recommended! Thomas Miley, United Kingdom Mar 9/11 During our 2 days with Daniel we covered all the highlights that I had identified - only a few of what is on offer in Rio but we had a limited amount of time. Daniel recommended Porcao for an evening meal and I had already found mention of this restaurant on the Internet as one of the better places to eat.. It came up to expectation! No hesitation in recommending Daniel as a guide, he kept everything at just the right level and he had a cracking sense of humour.

Cathie Compton, Australia Dec 10/10 Daniel was excellent from the moment he collected us from the airport. His knowledge just flowed in an easy conversation not like fact after fact. He was so helpful taking lots of photos of the three of us at the the perfect spot.We went shopping together and his inside knowledge was so helpful. We felt so safe the whole time even in the favellas. I don't think you could get a better guide, in fact Daniel was like family, he even waited at the airport until we checked in in case we had a problem. Best ever. With him we got not just a professional and knowledgeable guide but a host who made us feel as if we were visiting a friend or relative who is going out of his way to showcase the city he is living in. Being a family with two young boys, our requirements weren't always easy to accommodate and the weather wasn't great either but with Daniel's help we made the most out of our stay and can't wait to come back...
