In 6 hours, he took us to all of the major highlights giving us the background and history of Rio. He took us to the important places, but also to places that you wouldn't see on a regular cruise tour. We had a wonderful day and highly recommend this tour. Mary Krieger, United States Dec 23/11 Marcio was wonderful! We had a delightful six hour tour. He was prompt in picking us up at the airport. We dropped our bags off at the hotel and off we went to tour beautiful Rio! Marcio not only showed us the sites, but also had interesting stories to tell us. We didn't have to wait in long lines. Marcio took pictures of us at Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf, and they turned out great. He drove us through the forest and pointed out the wildlife and waterfalls. Since this was our first time to Brazil and because we do not speak Portuguese, it was wonderful to be met at the airport by a professional, such as Marcio. He helped us get oriented (thank goodness he helped us with the ATM!), provided a highly informational tour including Christ the Redeemer, Sugar Loaf and Tijuca National Park. At the end of the tour, Marcio dropped us at our hotel. We highly recommend both the guide and the tour. An excellent value. David Smith, United Kingdom Nov 22/11 Marcio is a nice guy and met us promptly at the cruise terminal. However we did not really get a tour, more a taxi ride to Christ the Redeemer and Sugar Loaf via the forest and it all ended an hour early so the guide could beat the traffic to get home! TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: When I offer a 6 hour or an 8 hour tour, in fact, it can be 1 hour more or 1 hour less....It all will depend on the traffic. As any other Big City, Rio de Janeiro is not free of traffic jams. We did in 6 hours exactly what we agreed before the tour started. The 6 hours tour has not an exact itinerary, so before starting it, I always give my travelers all the options for the tour, let them choose what to do, and then we start it. Best Regards, Marcio
