He is knowledgeable, has a great sense of humour, and prevented me from offering myself to the Mayan gods.Pacaya is alive with new growth since its eruption in the spring, and since I came equipped with 2 dead camera batteries, Nestor lent me his camera and e-mailed me the resulting pictures.Pacaya is a beautiful climb, best done slowly, and Nestor is the perfect guide.

Our trip included a very comfortable ride up to the volcano, lots of background information about the area, and an exciting opportunity to climb Pacaya and experience its hot spots first hand.
