Pat Wakelin, New Zealand Oct 5/10 Paul was a quiet friendly person who took us to Whistler. Probably the biggest disappointment was the fact the lifts werent working at this time of the year during the week and we would have thought Paul would have known this or checked it out prior. You're absolutely right that I should have checked this out - at some point during the shoulder season they close the Peak to Peak gondola for servicing. It is necessary to follow the situation closely as it doesn't follow a set schedule. I enjoyed speaking about construction techniques with Mr. Wakelin and discussing our problems with poor rainscreens.
