A few hiccups in the day were out of Melad's control but he handled it promptly, professionally and with great satisfaction to us. There was uncertainty as to where we would have lunch in Aswan, which I believe should have been worked out before our tour day (other than MacDonald's) but Melad found a place which served delicious Egyptian food with a very good atmosphere. Philip Casey, United Kingdom Apr 3/10 We were based in Luxor, rather than a Nile Cruise Tour. This meant that this Aswan tour was a good way to get to see some of the sites up towards Aswan, if you only have a day to spare. It was a long day (longer than the estimated 11 hours), but the extra time at the sites will be welcome. Melad has a regular driver, who provided a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus. The highlight is Philae Temple Complex - a magnificent island setting straight out of an adventure film. TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Thanks Mr. Philip.
