| We were based in Luxor, rather than a Nile Cruise Tour. This meant that this Aswan tour was a good way to get to see some of the sites up towards Aswan, if you only have a day to spare. It was a long day (longer than the estimated 11 hours), but the extra time at the sites will be welcome. Melad has a regular driver, who provided a comfortable, air-conditioned mini-bus. The highlight is Philae Temple Complex - a magnificent island setting straight out of an adventure film. |
