Sedef Oconnell, United States Jan 4/12 Julie was a nice and kind lady, she tried her best but her car was extremely uncomfortable. This convertible two doors car is a not supposed to be used as a tour sightseeing vehicle!! I personally did not feel safe and could not see view properly behind a narrow window in the back. The tour required a long distances and long drives, if I knew ahead of time I would not never take this tour. I guess it was over priced for this tour in this condition. TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: I'm both sorry and sad you didn't enjoy the day. I do state what type of cars I drive in my profile and you also mentioned you son has a BMW convertible so I thought you would know what to expect. I take pride in the maintenance and service of my vehicles and they are legally registered and certified as passenger service vehicles. Maybe you should have swapped for the front seat you were offered several times during the course of the day. I do hope you managed to enjoy the rest of your birthday.

Melissa Biederman, United States Dec 10/11 Tour guide is new, so maybe that was it, but didn't have a lot of knowledge of history. Friendly, though, but not a true "tour.". Appreciated being taken to Hobbiton. Please learn more history of the area and of the places you take people, though. TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Katikati is my home town - I know a lot about it and enjoy explaining as we wander through the murals which depict Katikati's unique Irish history. Unfortunately, due to one of the party feeling ill, they slept during the journey there so I couldn't explain much en route and then once there they decided against that part of the tour which was disappointing all round.

Sean Kuwada, United States Feb 11/10 This tour was absolutely amazing and more than we ever expected. Julie took us to the Hobbiton Movie Set (awesome!) and Te Puia (beautiful!). This was literally the best day of our trip. Julie was knowledgable about the area and made the trip comfortable and so much fun. We could not have asked for a better tour while in New Zealand. We would highly recommend one of her tours to anyone. Julie will customize the trip anyway you would like it. She was great. You will have the time of your life!! My wife, son, and I were very happy with the tour and felt that Julie had done everything she could to assure us a terrific experience. We were very very pleased and entirely satisfied. New Zealand is a wonderful place and we were far better off having a guide like Julie who took our input and then designed a day that was exactly what we wanted! We couldn't have been happier.
