Kevin did not conduct our tour . He sent Alan instead who was very good. However I have booked with tours by locals twice and both times the guide I had dealt with ended sending a substitute..Is this the usual practice?
TOURSBYLOCALS RESPONSE: Substitution is not the usual practice, however it does sometimes happen. Kevin followed the correct procedure to inform and seek traveler consent before a substitution is made.

Our group was very impressed with Thomas. He was so personable and informed about Panama. We appreciated that he made the trip to Colon to pick us up and share this day with us. This was the best tour of our cruise. Thanks again.
