Christine is very flexible, does her best to understand our style of travelling & is able to make changes to the tour accordingly even on the very day itself. The info Christine & Jan gave us (verbally & thru' a tape) along the way abt Yehliu was very educational. Jiufen was another eye-opener - we love the ice-cream & peanut dessert they recommended! The tea house is yet another highlight allowing my children to learn more abt how to make gd Chinese tea. Thanks Chrsitine & Jan for the great tour!:))

Christine was very responsive when we first contacted her through ToursByLocals. She was knowledgeable and flexible. We would recommend her highly especially for visitors who need an experienced guide with fluency in multiple languages and good local knowledge. She did a sterling job keeping our diverse group of teenagers, two elderly ladies and a couple of young-at-hearts entertained on our day out with her. She even brough her able assistant and her own DVDs and CDs for our excursion!
TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: It was a great day, sunny but quite hot - for a ride from the city through the Yangminshan mountains and along the Northeast Coast. We were so touched by your pleasant and friendly family. Hope you will come back to discover more of Taiwan, the heart of Asia.
