Trum Soule, United States Feb 16/12 This was an excellent tour conducted by Tim rather than by Hernan. In fact, Tim showed up and we were never told that Hernan would not be giving the tour. But, we loved the tour, and he took us where we wanted to go. I don't think he had been given the information that my mother walks with two canes. Had he had that information, he could have tailored the tour more in advance. When we came to lunch, there was a question as to who pays, but as I had an email including lunch in the price, no problem. TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Trum, I'm so sorry I couldn't let you know before hand about this substitution. I had family emergency that couldn't be avoid, and had to change at the very last minute, and Tim was willing to help me. I did however, informed him about your mother, as this was a main issue in your booking, and I wanted to make sure your mom will have a great time. I'm sorry about the surprise of me not being there, but this was an unavoidable situation.

Linda Robison, United States Feb 14/12 We were disappointed when Hernan was not at the port to meet us at the designated time. Then a substitute guide showed up and did the best he could. His English was great but experience and history knowledge was poor. We did get to see everything on our list and had a wonderful lunch at an Abby in the center of town but were also a bit surprised when the guide didn't even offer to pay for his lunch. (We were OK paying but would have at least expected the offer or a Thank You that we picked up his lunch) TOUR GUIDE RESPONSE: Linda, I am sorry I couldn't let you know in due time. My mom has been going thorugh some rough time and as a matter of fact I had to turn down most of my already contracted tours due to this. unfortunatelly I didn't have enough time to let anyone know about this emergency so Tim came to my rescue. Garth McEwan, South Africa Jan 8/12 Hernan was waiting for us at the ship terminal with a large airconditioned bus for just the four of us. He knew he had to be ahead of the other touring groups as there were two large ships in port that day and throughout the day we managed to avoid the crowds. Hernan was knowledgeable about BA and took us to all the major sites with a good balance between walking and driving. He was very knowledgeable about all the sites we visited, and he informed us about the many aspects of Argentinean culture. We also loved the restaurants he selected where we had a great opportunity to try out the local food. He was very flexible in planning out our schedule. Last but not least, his friendly and lighthearted personality made the tour fun and relaxing. We know who we will be contacting again the next time we go to Argentina! It was a great day and we really saw all of the highlights with him. He also took us off the beaten path and we really got a sense of the city from him. He gave us helpful tips for the rest of our trip. Hernan gives other tours in South America and if we get back to any of those places, we'd definitely book with Hernan again.
