Nurul Nahar Latif, Malaysia Nov 29/12 One of the best tour in all our travels. Tarek was courteous, professional & excellent with his very extensive historical knowledge. Best was he took us to a local egyptian restaurant on our last day & introduced us to a dish called koshary? an egyptian dish of rice, chickpeas, lentils & macaroni topped with tomato sauce. We definitely had a great time & would highly recommend him to our friends. Traffic congestion in Alexandria is severe and that can slow things down, so one should review priorities at the outset. Tarek is very knowledgable, speaks/understands English well--although due to accent sometimes had to clarify statements at my request, & has an agreeable sense of humor. Gordon Wells, United States Nov 28/10 Our guide, Tarek, did everything possible to make the trip a success. He was very informative and spoke acceptable English. Beacuse of unusually heavy traffic, the trip took longer than expected. We did not get to see the inside of the pyramids in Cairo because of the late time but he personally arranged for us to see the pyramid light show at night instead. We would suggest he dress slightly better for appearance and that he would wait until all were present to begin discussion so everyone could hear.
