Richard Barns, United States Apr 6/12 Leng was prompt and very pleasant. His english was excellent. He was knowledgeable about KL and the sites we visited. We were allowed as much time as needed at each site, no rush. He took pictures of us with our camera & also took pictures with his & has e-mailed them to us. We thoroughly enjoyed the day and it was well worth the money. We would never have been able to see all that was on the tour if we had gone on our own. We would recommend this tour & Leng to our friends. Brett Claridge, Australia Mar 18/12 So very happy with our guide. He showed us an amazing time on our last day in KL. Would recommend Leng to anyone. His 'half-day' tour was a FULL 12 hours!! He showed us a magical time (firefly tour!!) tailored to our needs, so we were not seeing things we had already visited earlier in the week. Fun, interesting man to talk to. Ashneel Singh, United States Mar 11/12 First of, you are paying for Leng's expertise on local cuisines, culture, history, and ability to navigate the city with ease. The cost DOES NOT include the food you eat, or costs for parking, and mileage ($ per km driven); these you pay during the tour. That being said, the 5 of us really enjoyed the tour. We went to non-tourist places, ate great stuff from food stalls (like the locals), and experienced the "real" KL. Leng covered so much we cancelled a city tour we had planned for the next day!! We usually like to try and figure out new cities on our own, but given that our stay in KL was very short, we decided that a private tour would be the best route. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and personable, and he did everything possible to make us more than satisfied. In addition to making a new friend in Leng, we ended the tour with a robust understanding of this beautiful city and tummies full of delicious eats. Barry Cooper, Canada Dec 31/11 Leng did a great job of showing me around on New Years Eve when most guides had the day off. We were able to cover alot of the sights in a very organized and efficient manner that would of taken more than a couple of days if organized on a group format. Even though I was an hour late arriving he waited patiently for me to organize at my hotel before heading out. Even though we could not get back to my hotel due to traffic he arranged to meet his friends at a club to watch the fireworks. He is not only very nice, patient, and smart guide but also very knowledgeable; I've learnt a lot from him about KL. He is the kind of guide who will quickly learn the needs/interests of him customers and run the extra mile to please them. He covered the many places we wanted to see and was also willing to show us more (took us to a fish spa and an excellent Indian restaurant for a very affordable lunch). I highly recommend Leng. George Aelion, Italy Dec 4/11 The tour itself was excellent. I appreciated the fact that the guide was flexible and extremely accommodating. My one issue was that the costing was not totally up-front. At the end of the tour their was a mileage charge that came to almost USD 25. I think that this type of charge should be indicated up-front in the cost description of the tour. Otherwise a very good tour. Carolyn Cruden, Australia Oct 10/11 My son and I had an 18 hour layover in Malaysia and i searched the internet for something to do. We lucked on toursbylocals, found Leng and I'm so pleased we did. What an amazing day we had. He suggested sights to see, we organised an itinerary and we were blown away by the awesome day we had. Leng was at all times professional, fun and very knowledgeable. I was impressed that he even responded late at night. -Friendly and positive personality -Good car and safe driver who knows the roads and highlights of KL very well. -Interesting local Chinese food experience that was a delight. -Mixed in sightseeing with the tour. James Schneider, United States Feb 18/11 I was on business in KL and had a day without meetings. I contacted Wei Teck L. about a day tour, he was very accommodating to my schedule. He picked me up promptly at my hotel, we spent 8 hours touring the city. I had previously told him I wanted to see historical sites and I wanted to experience local foods, no shopping and no parks. He was prepared and very knowledgeable about the history of Malaysia. We had a wonderful lunch of noodles and pork. I recommend him to anyone interested in touring KL.
