Kenneth Wild, United States Feb 12/13 Melva was a joy to spend the day with as she showed the best of her home island. She set a great pace for the day organizing everything we wanted to see in an easy to understand format so that we could appreciate the culture, people, and history of the island. She is very personable and has a wonderful sense of humor. Melva directly answered all of our questions and added some color commentary that kept us interested and engaged all day while showing us things not on any tour book list. Thanks Melva! Ann McConnell, United States Feb 7/13 Melva provided an excellent tour that was a combination of both sites we requested and points of interest only she knew as a native of the island. She was able to gladly accommodate a change in the ship's route/itinerary that was out of our control. I will definitely recommend her and would use her services again. Patricia Dornan, United States Jan 30/13 Melva and I discussed the type of tour I wanted and time became an issue but I was thrilled with the history I learned. There was such a feeling of awe as we stood where thousands of humans were auctioned off into slavery. I am sure as this tour is perfected, it will be 5 star all the way. Ms Melva was a wonderful representative of Curacao--she had a passion for her country and that showed as I learned more and more. We wanted to capture Curacao in all its beauty, and the private excursion with Melva provided just that. Melva was professional, educational, and very enjoyable. Dorothy Jamerson Anders, United States Jul 18/12 Excellent tour by Melva. Arrived on time, comfortable car. Very knowledgeable on local history and folk lore. Got to see some of the historical sites. lost out on the ostrich farm, as not enough time. Would recommend reserving tour of ostrich farm before hand as to not compete as a walk in with the ship cruise. Yes, i would take a tour with her anytime. Margo Meyer, United States May 6/12 Melva was wonderful! We enjoyed a morning of sightseeing and visiting some of her favorite spots on the island.
