Jan Campbell, United States Feb 18/12 Leticia was not with us for the transfers to and from the airport. Wellington was our driver for the entirety of our trip except for the ride from the airport, and was a very good driver. The woman who picked us up at the airport, Linda,was not especially informative, but was polite and tried to be helpful. Allanah Feeney, United States Jan 24/12 We took three tours with Leticia while we were in Rio and we rated her five stars for each one. What more can I say? She was wonderful. We saw so much of the city and we had such a good time with her. We talked like we were old friends. The gardens were beautiful, certainly worth seeing, and she know just which parts were special and pointed them out to us. Be sure to take many tours with Leticia. Thank you Leticia for a great time. Allanah Feeney, United States Jan 23/12 Toursbylocals is so superior to the usual big bus tours that my husband and I will never use any other company if we can help it. Our guide Leticia was knowledgeable,lovely,smart,and spoke perfect English. She took us to the important places before the crowds decended so we saw so much more of the city than we even expected. She is an excellent driver too. You don't want to drive in Rio. We had such a good time with Leticia that we felt we were with a friend. Ask for Leticia! Allanah Feeney, United States Jan 21/12 We had a wonderful tour with Leticia. There was a huge crowd at the cruise terminal. I had just said to my husband that we will never find our guide when we spotted Leticia and she was early. She drove us all around the city and we had a lot of opportunity to walk too. That is important to get a sense of a city. She is extremely knowledgeable and planned a very comprehensive tour. Plus, she is a lovely person. We felt like we were touring with a good friend. We had a really good time with her. Her car was very comfortable and she was able to show us things most one day tourists do not get to see such as the Barra beach area. That was one of my best memories. Hann-Wei Chen, Austria Jan 18/12 We want to thank Leticia for the splendid tour. She gave us lots of background information about Rio and the Cariocas. We were able to see the Christ staute, Tijuaca Forest, Santa Teresa, the beaches and Sugar Loaf in a couple of hours. We got to know the great taste of Acai and could buy Hawaiianas for a very good price thanks to Leticia taking us to these places! We'd definitely love to book a tour with her again. Although it was foggy at Christ the Redeemer, the view on Sugar Loaf was fabulous. Geoff Marsden, Australia Nov 21/11 Brilliant! Best way to see one of the most beautifully-sited cities in the world. Our guide not only showed us the major places (and all hassle free), she knew her city's history and stories. She took us to places she loved and grew up with and introduced us to the local cuisine. A much more personal way to introduce yourself to a new place. We recommend this tour and will definitely be trying tours by locals in other places. Beverly Anderson, Canada Feb 10/10 Valeria was 5 star - a really great experience. We had such a short time to visit a wonderful city and she showed us the best. I had done the major city tours from the ship the day before (Sugar Loaf and Christ the Redemer) and Valeria concentrated on showing us as much as we could ever have expected and gave us a real feel for Rio.
