Air changed the itinerary for us to allow a brief return to our hotel to allow forums all to freshen up. She showed a deep knowledge of her country's culture, and as the day progressed we regarded her more as a companion than a guide. In our experience, all Thai people are courteous and even respectful towards their foreign visitors, and this was certainly so with Air and her driver. She was supposed to spend 8 hours with me but did 11 since my flight was leaving late at night. She not only showed me the places I wanted to see, but also little bit of the way poor people live. Taking the public transport was a better way of seeing the regular life of people. She gave her undivided attention and speaks good English with an understandable accent. Patty Russell, United States Mar 21/12 Air was fantastic! I had 24 hours in Bangkok and she did a wonderful job helping me to see all the sights in the city. The time flew by. We had a great mixture of walking, taking boats, and taxis, so i never got too exhausted. She is extremely knowledgeable of the city's history, and if you are a photographer, she provides great suggestions on camera angles, shots, etc. A wonderful day and I would absolutely recommend her without hesitation to a friend. Not only was she was able to show us things that we wouldn't have otherwise seen in a group tour, but we were able to see many things as a local, which is exactly what we were looking for! George Aelion, Italy Feb 15/12 Air did a great job of showing my daughters (ages 13 and 15) the sights of Bangkok. The girls had a terrific time with the variety of the tour and especially with her flexibility (plenty of shopping). They really enjoyed the floating market, the caves and the railway market. They also got a real inside view of the Chinese market. Air knows all the ins and outs and provided my daughters with some truly unique experiences. We really appreciated her flexibility and willingness to adapt the program. My husband & I wanted to see more than Bangkok centre but didn't feel confident enough to travel around by ourselves. Before we arrived we had emailed each other and she designed a personalised itinerary that suited us all - including children age 11 and 14. She looked after us with drinks, umbrellas, great lunches and even negotiated for us when we bought things! Vladimir Kaplan, United States May 13/11 Thanks to Air, I got wonderful experiences in Bangkok. I ended up seeing places and eating foods that I couldn't even imagine existed. She never tired steering me towards any particular activity or a shop, didn't ration her time (quite opposite!) and graciously kept answering questions and give suggestions over the phone during my entire stay in Bangkok. Iris Peters, United States Feb 16/11 Air was prompt and I had a great time. Many tours are inexpensive but one tends to be herded and rushed and this is not fun. With Air it was good conversation, many little tips about local life and people and the surprise of the day was Elephant's World. I visited an elephant rescue organization and understood why so many tourists can't have personal contact with the animals. This time was different. Agnes is just starting out I found myself riding an elephant bareback into the river for a bath. Awesome!!! Howard Cohen, United States Dec 26/10 Air did not show up and we had a lady called Nat. We did not go to the railroad market as we weent to a floating market 1 1/2 hours out of Bangkok and we missed the railroad market as the train had already passed. We did finally get to the weekend market but had only a little time there. Of the first 5 hours of the tour we spent 4 hours just driving. We were very unhappy. Nat was very nice but did not give any information to us about what we were seeing or doing. We went to the Tha Kha Floating Market near Bangkok and at every vendor, she reached into her own pocket to buy our family the local delicacies to try. At the end of the tour, she returned us to our hotel, waited for us to freshen up and dropped us where we wanted to be in the city. Nothing was too much. The travel arrangements were spot on - a very comfortable air-conditioned van, private long-tail boat and bicycles for travelling around Ayutthaya. The bicycle choice was definitely the best way to see not only the temples but real life in Ayutthaya and the choice of local restaurant again was excellent. Michael Woodman, United Kingdom Nov 16/10 Air looked after us for 2 1/2 days and took us on very interesting trips. The first day was a bespoke itinerary that saw us criss cross Bangkok using every form of transport. On the second day we visited Ayutthaya and on the final morning a genuine floating market and a market on the railway tracks. Air speaks very good English, knows a lot about what she shows you, is very flexible and very considerate. The vehicles and drivers she uses are very good. A really memorable time in Bangkok.
