June Swan, Bloxom, VIRGINIA, United States Apr 19/13 Mohammed was an excellent and enthusiastic guide who, along with our driver Ahmed, gave us a wonderful full day of sightseeing in Tetouan and Tangier. We were joined by an additional guide in Tetouan, Mohammed also, who led us through the winding labyrinth of alleys in the old city. They were all careful to consider our mobility concerns (we are both 70!) and graciously made adjustments when necessary. We would definitely recommend Mohammed to others visiting Tangier. Steve Carey, United States Jan 16/13 Mohammed did a wonderful job of showing us all around with a variety of stories about each site. He was articulate and very knowledgable. The lunch was great at a very old decorative palace with typical music, but a bit pricey at 100 Euros ++ for a party of four. The tour of the old town and markets were great with many sites and stories to see and hear, but he introduced us to a high pressure rug and wares shop where the manager was a little too high pressure for us. All and all a great tour! In regard to the high pressure rug shop we must understand that the Moroccan techniques of dealing with consumers is completely different from the North American practices. Taking that in consideration we spoke with our guide and his manager who asked him to not take travelers to shops or bazaars unless they are asked to do so by the travelers.

Cathy Clayton, United States Jan 15/13 This tour was a lot of fun and very informative. Mohammed packed in a ton of activities and was so knowledgeable about the history and culture of Tangier. We were very tired and satisfied by the end of the day. We felt like we got a great deal for our money and are so glad that we decided on hiring a private guide rather than go with a large tour group. Thanks Mohammed! Emily T., United States Mar 31/12 Even though the day for our tour was slightly rainy, he should have taken us to see the Caves of Hercules from a closer vantage point, as this had been identified in the proposed itinerary. He also left the group unattended, except for the very persistent locals selling their wares, for longer than was comfortable. Because of the rain, it was dangerous to try and get closer to the caves. He does not recall when the group was left unattended, except when he helped one traveller who was having trouble walking.

Daphne Brown, United States Jan 16/11 Mohammed was very knowledgeable and patient. He met us at the ferry dock and explained all that we would experience upon departure. The tour was thorough, well-paced, and adapted to our interests throughout the day. The driver was also terrific, and both men spoke excellent English. They shepherded us over the countryside and through the Casbah and Tangier & Asilah Medinas for nearly 10 hours. All 5 of us were left longing for more time in Tangier!
