John Gillies, Canada Feb 26/12 Eduardo gave us a great day. What he lacked in vocabulary he made up for with his good humour and outstanding efforts to show us the entire city. He was very pleasant to be with and we appreciated that he could get us to the head of the line in crowded places and could get around streets blocked off for carnival events. He was very protective of us and made us feel secure wherever we were. We recommend him highly. Alfonso P Garcia Jr, Philippines Feb 18/12 Because our arrival in Rio coincided with the Rio Carnival, our group of 7 from the Philippines, Canada and the US initially felt we will not be able to see as much of Rio as we wanted during our short visit. But thanks to the excellent tour program recommended by our guide Eduardo, we were able to do so plus a lot more! Eduardo is exceptionally knowledgeable, very professional, always accommodating and a real credit to Rio tourism. We owe him all the wonderful memories of Rio we brought home with us. Dick Sitts, United States Dec 11/11 Eduardo could not have been any better. His English, his attitude and his willing to change plans several times during the 8 hour tour, was excellent. The best thing was his volunteering to stay with us an additional two hours so we did not have to take a cab back to the ship from the Hippie Fair. He was genuinely concerned for our safety and was willing to do anything to make us happy and comfortable. I would recommend Eduardo to anyone wanting to have a knowledgeable and considerate guide. His passion for Rio was easily seen, he made sure we saw Rio they way he knew it. An A+ experience. Danced to the beat of a great band. The 2 guides we had were fantastic, they know their history and love their city. We would use this company and these guides again. Catherine Roberts, Canada Dec 9/11 This was the highlight of our 2 days in Rio. I cannot believe how this tour changed our thinking of the favelas in Rio. Marcos and Eduardo were incredible. They showed us a part of Rio, people do not go to see. They should. We found some very kind and courteous people who were not as you imagined. The whole way of life was different than we imagined. I would highly recommend people to take this tour. The only way to learn about the grass roots of Rio. Gentlemen, thank you so much for a fantastic day. Percy Craigie, United Kingdom Jul 26/11 Eduardo has a very pleasant manner and made us feel very confortable from the start - he was extremely courteous and did make us feel quite safe in his care (important when booking a guided tour in Rio!) We enjoyed the tour but we did feel it was rather expensive for what it was but Eduardo did extend our tour by taking us on a visit to another part of Rio which we had been unable to visit in his own time.
