Rosemary Patterson, Australia Jul 27/12 My husband and I visited Sevastopol and Yalta in July this year as part of a Black Sea cruise. Sergey was able to accommodate our needs and tailored the tours to suit our requirements which enabled us to visit numerous sites that would have involved more than one tour had we booked a shore excursion through the cruise ship. Highlights were definitely the submarine base and the Panorama Museum in Sevastopol and getting right up close to Swallows Nest in Yalta. I would not hesitate to recommend Sergey. Sergey's historical knowledge and command of the English language were excellent and it was great to chat to him about life in Ukraine which particularly interests me as it was my first visit to the country of my father's birth. John Czerwinskyj, Canada Jun 28/12 We did a second day of touring Crimea with Sergey - an exceptional tour guide that we highly recommend. And again Sergey created a customized tour for us based on our interests and needs for that day (we had to end the day in Simferopol.) On this second tour we drove along the coast from Sevastopol to Yalta. We stopped at various sites along the way although one day isn't nearly enough time. Yet Sergey knew what to focus on and how to maximize our experience with the little time we had. John Czerwinskyj, Canada Jun 27/12 We had a specially customized tour to see the historic battlefield areas of the Crimean War around Balaklava in the morning and a historical/cultural excursion of the Tatar region of Bakhchisaray in the afternoon. Our tour guide Sergey was amazing! He was energetic, courteous, accommodating and fairly proficient with English. As a professional historian he was extremely knowledgeable about every inch of the terrain that we covered that day and he brought new insights to the significance of these sites. Kaye Wade, United Kingdom Oct 13/11 We had a brilliant tour on the 13the October 2011 given by Sergey and his driver. Although we had crammed a lot in to our 6 hours Sergey was full of knowledge and did his utmost to ensure we got the best out of it. Managed to fit in Sevastopol, Balaclava and the area around the charge of the Light Brigade. Additionally and the highlight of the day though was the visit to the ex Soviet submarine base and private museum. Altogether a brilliant tour that all our party of 6 enjoyed. Thanks Sergey...
