Totally satisfied - turned up when and where agreed and was flexible on the time to suit our group. Unfortunately, the king decided to take a weekend break in Seville at the same time as our trip (very inconsiderate!) so we couldn't access the Palace. However, Maria took us round the Bull Ring (at our request) and made it very interesting. It was a pleasure to meet her. John Parker, United Kingdom Jun 4/11 Just for information; our tour was not conducted by the appointed guide, Marta Casals (no reason was given for the switch). Instead we were shown around by guide Luis who collected us as planned from our hotel, was on time and did an excellent job. We would recommend his services to any visitor to Sevilla. Michael Dioguardi, United States Nov 23/10 Marta is truly a gem. Our bus from Cadiz to Seville was late and left us at a different spot than initially stated. Marta was in touch with us and totally calm and unflappable. She is extremely knowledgeable about her city and its historic sites. She recommended a fabulous tapas bar for lunch and we enjoyed it immensely. Despite our being late, she managed to fit all the highlights of Seville into our visit. We feel very fortunate to have had Marta as our Guide and recommend her without reservation. Jerry Comer, United States Sep 27/10 Misunderstandings all around. We had emailed that walking was a problem - she only wanted to walk. Offered to hire taxi - she said it was too much trouble and walking was better. Our bus was later than estimated (which she had advised might happen), but she was in a BIG hurry to leave based on estimated arrival. She brought 10 centuries of Spanish history to life, going way beyond what you get in guidebooks. She studied history at the University in Sevilla, and her passion for the subject shows--enough to keep our 20-something daughters thoroughly engaged for 3 hours (no small feat!).
